KIOXIA BG5 Serisi, 1.024 GB’a kadar kapasiteye sahip kompakt form faktörü NVMe™ SSD’lerden oluşan bir serisidir ve PCIe® 4.0, NVMe™ 1.4 spesifikasyon uyumlu arayüz ve KIOXIA 112 katmanlı BiCS FLASH™ 3D TLC (hücre başına 3 bit) flash bellekten yararlanır. Daha yüksek bant genişliği, gelişmiş flash yönetimi ve Host Memory Buffer (HMB) teknolojisi ile BG5 Serisi SSD'ler, 4,3 W'a kadar (Typ)* aktif güç tüketimi ile 3.500 MB/sn'ye kadar (sıralı okuma) ve 500K IOPS'ye kadar (rastgele okuma) kompakt biçim faktörlü SSD'ler için sınıfının en iyisi okuma performansı sunar.
BG5 Serisi SSD'ler 256 GB, 512 GB ve 1.024 GB kapasitelerde M.2 Tip 2230 ve Tip 2280 modül form faktörlerinde mevcuttur ve bu sayede ultra ince bilgisayarlar gibi ince ve hafif sistem tasarımları için uygundur. BG6 Serisi, TCG Opal Sürüm 2.01'i destekleyen Kendiliğinden Şifrelemeli Sürücü (SED) model seçeneği sunar.
