XG8 Serisi, KIOXIA en güncel, 112 katmanlı, 3D TLC (hücre başına 3 bit) flash bellek kullanır. 5. nesil BiCS FLASH™ ve SLC önbellek özellikleriyle XG8 SSD'ler sırasıyla 7.000 MB/sn ve 5.800 MB/sn ardışık okuma/yazma hızlarına ulaşır ve 900K rastgele okuma ve 620K rastgele yazma IOPS'si sunar. XG8 Serisinin güç tüketimi aktif modda 8,1 W veya daha az ve bekleme modunda 3 mW'den daha azdır.
