KIOXIA CD8-R-Serie
NVMe™-Rechenzentrum-SSD für hohe Lesevolumen
Die CD8-R-Serie ist eine auf hohe Lesevolumen ausgelegte Rechenzentren-NVMe™-SSD, die für ein breites Spektrum von Scale-out- und Cloudanwendungen optimiert wurde. Dazu zählen etwa Big Data/IoT, Onlinetransaktionsverarbeitung und Virtualisierung. SSDs der CD8-R-Serie sind mit einer „PCIe® 4.0“-Schnittstelle (16 GT/s x4) ausgestattet und liefern eine konsistente Performance von bis zu 1,250 Millionen IOPS (zufälliges Lesen) bzw. 200.000 IOPS (zufälliges Schreiben).
Ausgestattet mit einem BiCS FLASH™ 112-Layer-3D-TLC-Speicher der KIOXIA Corporation bieten die CD8–R-SSDs (Formfaktor 2,5 Zoll) 1 DWPD (Drive Writes Per Day) bei einer Speicherkapazität von bis zu 15,36 TB in einem Formfaktor von 2,5 Zoll. Damit eignen sich die Speichermedien ideal für den Einsatz in Hyperscale-Rechenzentrumsanwendungen.

- Definition of capacity: KIOXIA Corporation defines a megabyte (MB) as 1,000,000 bytes, a gigabyte (GB) as 1,000,000,000 bytes and a terabyte (TB) as 1,000,000,000,000 bytes. A computer operating system, however, reports storage capacity using powers of 2 for the definition of 1 GB = 2^30 = 1,073,741,824 bytes and therefore shows less storage capacity. Available storage capacity (including examples of various media files) will vary based on file size, formatting, settings, software and operating system, and/or pre-installed software applications, or media content. Actual formatted capacity may vary.
- GT/s: Giga Transfers per second.
- A kibibyte (KiB) means 2^10, or 1,024 bytes.

- IOPS: Input Output Per Second (or the number of I/O operations per second).
