La serie de KIOXIA CD8-R cuenta con unidades SSD de lectura intensiva NVMe™ para centros de datos, optimizada para apoyar un amplio rango de aplicaciones en la nube y de escalamiento horizontal, incluyendo big data, IoT, procesamiento de transacciones online y virtualización. Construidas con una interfaz PCIe® 4.0 (16 GT/s x4), las unidades SSD de la serie CD8-R ofrecen un rendimiento constante de hasta 1 250 000 IOPS (lectura aleatoria) y 200 000 IOPS (escritura aleatoria).

Con memoria flash BiCS FLASH™ 3D TLC de 112 capas KIOXIA, las unidades SSD de la serie CD8-R de 2,5 pulgadas ofrecen 1 DWPD (Drive Writes Per Day) de resistencia y capacidades de almacenamiento de hasta 15,36 TB en un diseño de 2,5 pulgadas, lo que las hace idóneas para aplicaciones de centros de datos a hiperescala.
