KIOXIA XD7P-serie E1.S SSD's zijn ontworpen volgens de EE1.S-specificatie van de Enterprise en Data Center Standard Form Factor (EDSFF) E1.S om te voldoen aan de specifieke vereisten van hyperscale-toepassingen, waaronder de prestatie-, vermogens- en thermische vereisten van de specificatie van de Open Compute Project (OCP) Datacenter NVMe™ SSD. Naast 9,5 mm dikte E1.S wordt ook 15 mm dikte E1.S met koelelement ondersteund. De SSD's uit de XD7P-serie zijn ontworpen om de systeemdichtheid en -efficiëntie te optimaliseren en vertegenwoordigen de toekomst van flashopslag voor servers en opslagsystemen in cloud- en hyperscale-datacenters, en ondersteunen opslagcapaciteiten tot 7,68 TB.

- Definition of capacity: KIOXIA Corporation defines a megabyte (MB) as 1,000,000 bytes, a gigabyte (GB) as 1,000,000,000 bytes and a terabyte (TB) as 1,000,000,000,000 bytes. A computer operating system, however, reports storage capacity using powers of 2 for the definition of 1 GB = 2^30 = 1,073,741,824 bytes and therefore shows less storage capacity. Available storage capacity (including examples of various media files) will vary based on file size, formatting, settings, software and operating system, and/or pre-installed software applications, or media content. Actual formatted capacity may vary.
- GT/s: Giga Transfers per second.
- A kibibyte (KiB) means 2^10, or 1,024 bytes.
